Promoting Good Government for Holmdel, NJ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About the Holmdel Democrats
Q:  What is the mission of the Holmdel Democratics?

A:  The Holmdel Democratics work to promote good government for Holmdel, NJ.  We bring together citizens of all political persuasions who care about Holmdel and want to become well versed in the issues, and want to get involved.  We seek to develop community leaders and elect officials who are responsive to the needs of the entire community.

Q:  Is the Holmdel Democratic Alliance (HDA) the same thing as the local Democratic club for Holmdel?

A:  No.  HDA was a coalition of Democrats and Republicans that met monthly.  HDA is no longer active as an independent organization.  Many of HDA's core members are active members of the Holmdel Democratic political party.

Q:  Aren't the local Democrats just a political arm of CILU?

A:  No, and please don't believe such rhetoric!

Holmdel Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) is separate and distinct from the Holmdel Democrats.  Many Holmdel Democrats are active members of CILU.  But CILU does not control or run our party.  And you do not need to be a member of CILU, or even a supporter of CILU, to become active with the Holmdel Democrats.
